1. What are the topics covered in PMP exam?
Ans: The PMP exam, last modified on 2nd January 202, covers the following:
People: focused on the skills and activities associated with efficiently leading a project team.
Process: recapping and reinforcing the technical aspects of managing a project.
Business environment: Highlighting the interrelation between projects and organization strategy.
2. What if I am not eligible to take the PMP exam?
Ans: If you are a high school graduate, you can take the CAPM® certification, for which all you need is qualified training.
3. When will I get the result for the exam?
Ans: You’ll see your result before you exam center.
4. How do I become a PMP?
Ans: You can take the exam if:

5. I have passed the exam. What next?
Ans: You are now regarded as a certification holder. However, your certification package can take 6-8 weeks to arrive in your email. Please refer to the “Use of Your PMI Certification” section of the handbooks for more details.
6. How can I apply for the PMP exam?
Ans: You can apply for the PMP exam online at pmi.org. Please note: If the application is not completed, it will be saved in an unfinished state, which will be open for 90 days.
7. How long does it take for the applications to be processed?
Ans: Online applications are processed within five business days. However, individual applications submitted by mail take approximately ten business days.
8. How many questions does the PMP exam have?
Ans: The PMP exam has a total of 180 questions, including mutually exclusive, multiple-choice, and four-option questions.
9. Can I schedule my exam any time?
Ans: PMI will instruct the candidate to contact PearsonVUE to choose a date and venue for taking the exam (at approved Pearson VUE Testing Centers worldwide). Venue list is given in the Pearson website. Then, the candidate has to select the time available at any of the Prometric sites.
10. Can I reschedule or cancel the exam?
Ans: Yes. You can reschedule or cancel the exam. It has to be done two days before the exam date. However, cancelling/rescheduling the exam within 30 days of the exam date will involve a fee. Ensure that you go through the Prometric guidelines.
11. Can I retake the exam if I do not pass it in the first attempt?
Ans: Yes. You can retake the exam for a maximum of three times within one year of application approval. If the candidates have exhausted all the attempts, but have still not passed, they have to wait one year from their last attempt to re-apply.
